What Jesus Says about Prayer
If you are like many Christians, there’s a good chance that talking about your personal prayer life fills you with guilt and/or shame. You have a sense that you “should” be praying more, but…you aren’t. You wish you had more of a desire to pray, but…you don’t. What is the way forward?
A good place to start is Jesus’ teaching on prayer from the Sermon on the Mount. This Sunday we’ll explore his instruction in Matthew 6:5-8 as we kickoff a new 7-week series called “Prayer Matters.” Imagine how exciting it would be if the Lord would be pleased to ignite an individual and corporate movement of prayer here at Hope. Join me in praying to that end.
Relying on the One who is praying for us,
Pastor Eric
